A monthly meeting of the Denver ETA community.

Networking, then a panel discussion or an interview, then more networking.

It runs on the first Wednesday of every month at River North Brewery in Denver, and it is deliberately casual. People come to talk about acquisitions they are working on, ones that fell through, and what running the business afterwards has actually been like.

The group is organised by PROX Search Capital, a fund that backs self-funded search deals, and it has grown past two thousand members.

How it connects to the conference.

The Denver ETA Meetup is one of the organisations behind the RMETA Conference, alongside CU Boulder's Deming Center and the other collaborating universities. The conference grew out of the same community that fills a brewery back room every month.

The two are worth doing together. The conference gives you a day of structured programming and a much wider room; the meetup is where those relationships get maintained the other eleven months of the year.
